NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana will hold a
public hearing to consider adopting an ordinance repealing existing mobile food vehicle
regulations (Chapter 36 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code section 36-700 through 36-
720 and section 36-50 through 36-63), and remove said sections from the Santa Ana
Municipal Code and replacing them with new regulations to protect the public's health
and safety in accordance with Vehicle Code section 22455 and the California Retail
Food Code and County of Orange Health Care Agency/Environmental Health.
This matter will be heard on June 6, 2017 at 5:45 p.m., or as soon as possible
thereafter, in the Council Chamber, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. All
persons interested in this matter are notified to appear at this time.
If you challenge the decision of the City Council on the above matter in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana at, or prior to, the public hearing.
