RESOLUTION NO. 2004-023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 99-078
PROVIDING FOR COMPENSATION FOR THE CLERK OF
THE COUNCil.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOllOWS:
Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:
A.
On December 6, 1999, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No.
99-078 providing for the compensation for the office of Clerk of the Council
for the City of Santa Ana.
B.
The City Council desires to amend this resolution with respect to accrual of
vacation time.
Section 2: That Section 4(g) of Resolution 99-078 is hereby amended to read as
follows:

A4(g). Vacation. Said officer shall receive the same vacation benefits and
vacation pay options as provided to classifications designated as Executive
Management. In addition, said officer shall accrue vacation at a rate as
though the effective date of her appointment as Clerk of the Council with the
City of Santa Ana was January 18, 1984.
Section 3: That except as expressly amended by this Resolution, Resolution No.
'. t 99-078, and each and every section, subsection and provision thereof, shall remain

as of January 18, 2004.; .
