Main Street project; opined that project is inappropriate for the location. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION: Approve staff recommendation on Consent Calendar Items A-B. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2017-31 TO ALLOW THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FOR OFF-PREMISE CONSUMPTION AT S RANCHO MARKET LOCATED AT 2429 WEST MCFADDEN AVENUE UNITS 101 AND 102 Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on February 16, 2018 and notices mailed on February 16, 2018. Case Planner Guevara provided a presentation which included a description of the project, project background and project analysis. The applicant spoke in support of the matter. Chairman McLoughlin opened the Public Hearing. There were no speakers and the hearing was closed. MOTION: Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2017-31. DISCUSSION ON PROPOSED CAMPUS FOR CHRIST OUR SAVIOR PARISH LOCATED AT 2000 WEST ALTON AVENUE Case Planner Guevara provided an overview of the project which included information on the following: Location Information Background Project Description Proposed Site Plan Floor Plans Proposed Renderings Discussion ensued regarding setbacks, project timeline, architectural design, hours of operation, security, traffic flow, campus accessibility, and signage. It was generally agreed that the design should include contrasting colors and other natural elements to complement the all-white building color; would like Church to feel inviting. Overall, Commission expressed support for the project. The applicant was present to address Commission concerns and provided additional information on the project. COMMENTS 3.
