PARKING PERMIT DISTRICTS (PPD)
What is a PPD:
•
City has 27 Preferential Parking Districts Citywide
•
PPD is used to manage parking in Residential neighborhoods
Authority:
•
Established under CVC Section 22507 and SAMC 36-480
Purpose:
•
Allows residents to park on their street by reducing intrusion
How:
•
Demonstrate need and requires petition
•
Implemented on a block-by-block basis
