N$.~2~ A~EkU)ING SANTA ANA ~JNICIPAL CODE <br /> BY A~E~ING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT <br /> BOUNDARIES AND BY A~NDING Sb~:T NUMBERED ~ ~ ; <br /> THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATiO~ <br /> <br /> ~i~HEAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha has <br /> giv~notice of public hearings as required by law in connection with <br /> an application for change of District classification to cover the <br /> property herein described and other property go the East thereof, and <br /> has duly held two public hearings upon the Question of such change and <br /> thereafter, by Resolution No. 560-A recommended the change hereinbelow <br /> set out and other changes to the City Council for adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public <br />hearing and such public hearing has been regularly held and the Coun- <br />cil does ~ow find that public necessity, convenience, and general wel- <br />fare require the following amendment and c~ange in the present classi- <br />fication of the real property hereinafter described and'that the uses <br />under the~proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property, and further finds that the chsnges in classifi- <br />cation of the property to the East of the property hereinbelow described <br />is unnecessary and would be against the general welfare and detrimen- <br />tal to surrounding property because such a change would allow C-1 <br />uses at a busy intersection without,the assurance of standard street <br />improvements or any paving in'front of such businesses; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />0RDAINAS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Tha~ the real property lying in the City of Santa <br />Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> All that property on the North side of East 17th Street, <br /> commencing at the intersection of East 17th and Ms in Streets, <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lots 9, 12, 13, Block B Wiley Addition; Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 <br /> and lC, Bush Street Tract;.thence 158.4' frontage at the NE <br /> Corner of Spurgeon and 17th Street, for a depth of 145'; thence. <br /> East from a point 158.4' East of the intersection of Spurgeon <br /> and 17th,~ continuing to the NW Corner of Valencia and 17th for <br /> a depth of approximately.l$O'; <br /> <br /> <br />
