ORDINANCE NO. NS-193 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION <br /> 0P THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SEGERSTROM <br /> ANNEX NO. 1" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on <br />May 21, 1956 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 56-158, which said Resolution was regu- <br />larly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave <br />due notice of public hearing to be held on July 2, 1956; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were~no objections or protests <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S~NTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due <br />notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri- <br />tory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation <br />was filed; that said territory is contiguou~ to the City of Santa Aha, <br />California; that written consent of all the owners was filed wi th the <br />Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption o~ this Ordinance, agree- <br />ing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay <br />any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or <br />existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall be <br />SO taxed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the West line of Bristol Street, <br /> 80.00 feet wide, as shown on a map filed in Book 29, at <br /> page 15 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County <br /> Recorder of Orange County, California, said point being <br /> distant North 0o 08, 40" East 200.06 feet from the inter- <br /> section of said West line with the North llne of the strip <br /> of land 80.00 feet wide, conveyed to H. E. Huntington, <br /> Trustee, now used as a railroad right of way, said point <br /> being in the existi_ng boundary line of the City of Santa <br /> Ana; thence South 0u 08' 40" West along said West line of <br /> Bristol Street and the Southerly extension thereof, 320.09 <br /> feet to a point in the South line of Talbert Avenue 40.00 <br /> feet wide; thence South 88° 44' 40'' West along said South <br /> llne, 3610.49 feet; thence North 1° 00' 10" West 1379.31 <br /> feet to a point in the North line of Lot 7, of the <br /> Williams Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 30, at <br /> <br /> <br />
