ORDINANCE NO. NS-31h DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITO'RY DESIGNATED "NORTH 5LAIN STREET ANNEX" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on February 3, 1958 initiate proceedings for and declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by adopting Resolution No. 58-3~, ~nich said Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on March l?, 19~8; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, ~tE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after dne hearing, it finds that there was no protest to the snnexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was uninhabited at the time said Re~lution No. ~8-3~ was adopted; that said territory shall not be taxed to p~y any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2. That ~ I of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line of Main Street (66.00 feet wide) with the South line of the 4~rd Aonex of the City of Orange, California, as shown on instru- ment Number 6764 filed with the Office of the County Recorder on January 20, 19~5, County of Orange, State of California, said point of intersection being mn angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, Califorula; thence easterly along said South line of the 43rd Annex 66.00 feet to the East line of Main Street; thence southerly along said East line of Main Street to a point l~0.O0 feet North of the North line of Tract No. ~15 as shown on a map recorded in Book 14, Page 49 of I~iscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, and to said City boundary of Santa Ana; thence westerly along said City boundary to the West line of said ~ain Street and to ~n angle point in said City boundary; thence northerly along said West line of ~ain Street and along said City boundary to the point of beginning, be and t he same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part.of the City of Santa Aha, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
