ORDINANCE NS-.732 AMENDING ARTICLE ~W~ ~i~ CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLIC~ ~71% AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 497 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 497, filed by JUANITA C. CONKLE and LEMON L. CONKLE for a change in District classification from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the center line of Euclid Street located 660 feet, more or less, northerly from that point where the center line of Euclid Street intersects the center line of McFadden Avenue; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to the northerly line of the Orange County Flood Control District Channel; thence southwesterly along the north line of the Orange County Flood Control District Channel for a distance of 668 feet, more or less, to the center line of Euclid Street; thence northerly along the center line of Euclid Street for a distance of 198 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 497 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
