NS-1341 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 753 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REZONING PROPERTY FROM THE <br />R3-HDII, CI-HDII, C2-HDII, AND 0 DISTRICTS TO <br />THE SD (SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT, AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 12-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has initiated Amendment <br />Application No. 753 to rezone property generally located between <br />Ross, Van Ness, First, and Third streets from the R3-HDII, C1-HDII, <br />C2-HDII, and 0 districts to the SD (Specific Development) District, <br />and said Commission has recommended approval of said application <br />after notice and hearing thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice required by law, and <br />does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general <br />welfare require that the said property be reclassified from the <br />R3-HDII, CI-HDII, C2-HDII, and 0 districts to the SD (Specific <br />Development) District, and that such new classification will not <br />be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, California, described as follows: <br /> <br />All that certain land situated in the State <br />of California, County of Orange, and being <br />that portion of Parcel 2, in the City of Santa <br />Aha, as shown on a Map filed in Book 31, <br />Page 42 of Parcel Maps, Records of said Orange <br />County and that portion of the Rancho Santiago <br />de Santa Aha, being a portion of the Southeast <br />quarter of Section 36, Township 4 South, Range <br />lO West, SBM described as a whole as follows; <br />Beginning at the most northwesterly corner <br />of said Parcel 2; thence S 0° 02m 48" E along <br />a westerly line of said Parcel 2 a distance <br />of 2511.39 feet to the most southwesterly corner <br />of said Parcel 2; thence N 89o 57~ 12" E along <br />a southerly line of said Parcel 2 508.40 feet; <br />thence leaving said southerly line N O~ 02m <br />48" W lO0.O0 feet; thence N 890 57' 12 E <br />715.00 feet; thence N 0° 02' 48" W to a point <br />in the certain southerly right of way.lin~ <br />having a bearing and distance of N 78v 30' <br /> 25" E 254.95 feet and described in Book 5803, <br /> Page 212 of Official Records of said Orange <br /> County; thence S 78o 30m 25" W along said <br /> last mentioned line and its southwesterly <br /> prolongation a distance of 2~0.00 feet to <br /> a point; thence southwesterly in a direct <br /> line to the Point of Beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R3-HDII, C1-HDII, C2-HDII, and 0 <br />Districts to the SD (Specific Development) District and that Sec- <br />tional District Map 12-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication, in accordance with Exhibit A.~A. 753-A. <br /> <br /> <br />
