NS- 1345 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 755 FILED BY THE SANTA <br />ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REZONING PROPERTY <br />FROM THE 0 (OPEN SPACE) DISTRICT TO THE Rl (SINGLE- <br />FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 25-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of <br />and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 755, <br />filed by the Santa Ana Unified School District to rezone property, <br />generally located on the south side of Segerstrom Avenue between <br />Bristol and Flower Streets from the 0 (Open Space) District to the <br />R1 (Single-Family Residence) District and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hear- <br />ing on said reclassification on published notice required by law, <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that the said property be reclassified <br />from the 0 (Open Space) District to the R1 (Single-Family Residence) <br />District and that such new classification will not be detrimental <br /> <br />to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> SECTION l: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, California, described as Parcel 4 on a map <br />recorded in Book 22, page 3g of Parcel Maps, records of Orange <br />County, is hereby reclassified from the 0 (Open Space) District <br />to the R1 (Single-Family Residence) District, and that Sectional <br />District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassifica- <br />tion in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 755~A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor <br />the repeal hereby of any ordinance shall in any manner affect <br />the prosecution for violation of ordinances, which violations <br />were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be con- <br />strued as affecting any of the provisions of such ordinance re- <br />lating to the collection of any such license or penalty or the <br />penal provisions applicable to any violation thereof, nor to <br />affect the validity of any bond or cash deposit in lieu thereof, <br />required to be posted, filed or deposited pursuant to any ordi- <br />nance and all rights and obligations thereunder appertaining <br />shall continue in full force and effect. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 2Sth day of January , 1977, by <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES, COUNCILMEN: Ward, Brandt, Ortiz, <br /> Yamamoto, Evans <br /> <br /> NOES, COUNCILMEN: None <br /> ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Garthe <br /> <br />ATTEST' <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />KEITH L.
