NS-1521 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ORDERING, CALLING, PROVIDING FOR AND <br />GIVING NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE SAID CITY <br />ON JUNE 3, 1980, FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS <br />OF THE SAID CITY CERTAIN PROPOSALS <br />TO ~END THE CHARTER OF THE SAID CITY <br />AND AN ADVISORY MEASURE ON SALES TAX <br />APPORTIONMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana desires that a special municipal election <br />be held on June 3, 1980, for the purpose of submitting <br />certain proposed amendments to the Charter of the City of <br />Santa Ana and an advisory measure on sales tax apportionment <br />to the qualified voters of said City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is requesting the Board <br />of Supervisors of Orange County to order the consolidation <br />of the said special municipal election with the statewide <br />general election to be held on the same date; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That a special election be held and <br />the same is hereby called to be held, in the City of Santa <br />Ana on June 3, 1980, for the purpose of submitting to the <br />qualified voters of said city the proposals hereinafter set <br />forth to amend the Charter of the City of Santa Ana and an <br />advisory measure on sales tax apportionment. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That on the ballot to be used at <br />said special election, in addition to any other matters <br />required by law, there shall be printed substantially the <br />following: <br /> <br />NUMBER OF WARDS.
