What streets/boundaries define <br />your community? <br />The streets that define my community are Bristol, Mcfadden, Edinger, Raitt, Warner, Fairview, and Willits. <br />My community is composed of low-income Latino families who are apartment renters. There are extremely <br />hard-working families, many of whom have essential jobs that are sadly often overlooked and poorly paid. That <br />is why my community of interest is Families that are Apartment Tenants. <br />What are the major cultural/recreational/educational/religious institutions in your community? <br />The main educational institutions are Gerald P. Carr Intermediate, Valley Highschool, King Elementary, <br />Diamon Elementary School, Sepulveda Elementary, Lorin Griset, and Monte Vista Elementary School. <br />The religious institutions are Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Church of the Nazarene <br />Does your community have major geographical boundaries/features (freeways, parks, lakes, mountains)? <br />The parks in my community are Jerome Park and Adams Park. <br />Do you have concerns about the current boundaries of your Ward? <br />Yes, I am a WARD 2 resident. My main concern is that the income limits of the population south of Warner to <br />Sunflower Ave. are very different than the income limits of my community (North of Warner to First St.). <br />
