ORDIN.~OE NO. 1339 AN ORDIN~MCE TO A~Eh~ SUBDIVISION (c) OF CITY 0RDINf~CE NU~BER 12~9 OF SECTION 2 THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SLNT~ ~A DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section l: That Subdivision (c) of Section 2 of City Ordi- nance N~mber 1249 entitled "~q ORDINA~CE OF THE CITY OF ESTABLISHING RENTAL CHARGES L~\~D REGULATIONS FOH THE USE OF THE SANTA ANA ~NICIPAL B0'~" be and the same is ~ereby amended to read as follows: "(c) That the maximum rental for any event shall be ten percent (10%) of the first $1,000.00 gross gate re- ceipts, and fifteen percent (15~) of ~ll gross gate receipts in excess of the first $1,000.00, provided, however, that there shall be no rental fee upon shy gate receipts in excess of the first $1~,000.00 on any one game, exhibition, athletic event, or other use. An agent of the City shall be allowed access to the records and books of any person or organization usio~ the Bowl, which records shall include copies of ~ny tax returns made by such person or organization. ~ny person ob- taining a pe~it to use said Nunicipal Bowl wh~re admissions ar~ charged sh~ll, within two (2) days following the ~se, file with the City, a statement of the gross gate receipts and pay therewith the percentage due ~s rental as herein provided for. In the case of any person or organization makio~ repeated use of said ~unicipal Bowl, where such accounting procedure is incon- venient~ an extension of the time provided for herein may be gr~nted by the City Council, by ~inute Order made and duly entered." Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published three t i~es in the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated
