ORDINANCE NO. ~7 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCEAPPROVING TH~ANNEXATION OF THAT <br /> CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "NORTH MAIN STREET <br /> ANNEXATION" <br /> <br /> WHt~EAS, the Council of the City of Santa Ana did, en the 2nd <br />day of June, 1952 by Resolution Number 52-51, declare its intention <br />to annex certain uninhabited territory contiguous to said City, which <br />said Resolution was regularly published in the Santa Ann Register, <br />a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said <br />City, and in the Orange Daily News, a newspaper of general circula- <br />tion published outside of said City but in the County of Orange, <br />California, said publications being made once a week for two con- <br />secutive weeks prior to the public hearing on said proposed annexa- <br />tion which said public hearing was set by said Resolution for the <br />21st day of July, 1952; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections to said <br />proposed annexation and no written protest was filed by any person <br />against the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES 0R- <br />DAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held upon due <br />notice regularly given in all respects as required by the statutes <br />and as hereinabove set out and in the files of this proceeding more <br />particularly shown, we do find, declare and ordain that there is <br />and was no protest nor objection, either written or oral, to the <br />annexation of the territory herein described to the City of Santa <br />Ann, that due and regular notice of the time and place of hearing <br />was given as required by law and that said territory is and was <br />wholly uninhabited and that no person lives thereon.; that said ter- <br />ritory was and is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That all of the uninhabited territory situated in <br />the County of Orange, State of California and described as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
