ORDINANCE NO. NS-163 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHA~NGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 53 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 927 recom- mended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and geD~ral welfare require the following amend- ment and t.hat the uses under the new classification will not be detri- mental to the surrounding property. NOW, T.~EREPORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DCES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California described as: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Nonta Vista Street and the center line of Center Street; thence Southerly along the center line of Center Street to the center line of Fairview Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line of Fairview Avenue 659.63 feet; thence Northerly to a point on the center line of Nonta Vista Street, which is 661.05 feet Easterly from the center line of Center Street; thence Westerly alomqE the center line of Monta Vista Street to the point of beginning be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-2 District and that Sheet No. 53 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of t~ae Santa Ana Independent. This O~dinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
