ORDINANCE NS-913 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMEI~T APPLICATION 619 FILED BY JOHN ROHi{S AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-9-5 (EXHIBIT AA 619 B) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 619, filed by JOHN ROHRS for a change in District classifications from the R-l, R-lB and R-2 Districts to the R-l, R-lB and C-4 Districts, and said Commission, by its Resolution 5831, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 619 B; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding area. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of Santiago Avenue located 190 feet, more or less, northerly from that point where the center line of Santiago Avenue intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence northerly along the center line of Santiago Avenue for a distance of 516.82 feet, more or less, to the center line of Nineteenth Street; thence easterly along the center line of Nineteenth Street for a distance of 1284.39 feet, more or less, to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of Lincoln Avenue for a distance of 105 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Nineteenth Street for a distance of 1144.39 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santiago Avenue for a distance Of 411.82 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 140 feet, more or less, to the center line of Santiago Avenue and the point of beginning, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the westerly 50 feet, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-lB Districts to the R-lB District, and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 619 B. SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Parcel 2: Beginning at that point where the center line of Santiago Avenue intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence northerly along the center line of Santiago Avenue for a distance of 190.0 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 140 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santiago Avenue and along the easterly line of Parcel 1, above-described, for a distance of 411.82 feet, more or less, thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Nineteenth Street and along the southerly line of Parcel 1, above-described, for a distance of 1144.39 feet, more or less, to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of Lincoln Avenue for a distance of 36.82 feet, more or less; thence westerly along -1-
