ORDINANCE NS-923 AMENDING SECTION 9271 OF PART 7,
<br />CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL
<br />CODE TO REVISE THE FUTURE RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF
<br />SEVENTEENTH STREET BETW~.F.~ OLIVE AND BUSH STREETS
<br />AND ADDING SECTIONS 9271.1 THROUGH 9271.29
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
<br />Commission has recommended that the future right of way lines be
<br />revised between Olive and Bush Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council, on notice
<br />as required by law, said Council determined that said future right
<br />of way lines should be revised and that the Santa Ana Municipal
<br />Code should be amended to show such revision;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ANA
<br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br /> SECTION 1: That Section 9271 of Part 7, Chapter 2,
<br />Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to
<br />read in words and figures as follows, and Sections 9271.1, 9271.2,
<br />9271.3, 9271.4, 9271.5, 9271.6, 9271.7, 9271.8, 9271.9, 9271.10,
<br />9271.11, 9271.12, 9271.13, 9271.14, 9271.15, 9271.16, 9271.17,
<br />9271.18, 9271.19, 9271.20, 9271.21, 9271.22, 9271.23, 9271.24,
<br />9271.25, 9271.26, 9271.27, 9271.28, and 9271.29 are added as follows:

<br />SECTION 9271. Future Riqht of Way Lines Established.
<br /> Future Right of Way Lines are hereby established and re-
<br />established along certain streets and portions of streets within
<br />the city as hereinafter set out, and no person shall erect, move
<br />in, or structurally alter any building or structure between said
<br />Future Right of Way Lines and streets, respectively; however,
<br />nothing herein is intended to prohibit the construction or erec-
<br />tion of a hedge, masonry wall, or fence, provided said hedge,
<br />masonry wall, or fence meets with the requirements of the
<br />District within which it is located and all other provisions of
<br />this Chapter.

<br />SECTION 9271.1. Seventeenth Street (Westminster Avenue).
<br /> (1) On both sides, 52 feet from center line, between Euclid
<br /> Street and College Avenue.
<br />(2) On both sides, 50 feet from center line, between College
<br /> Avenue and Olive Street.
<br /> (3) On both sides, 52 feet from the center line, between
<br /> Olive Street and the East Corporate Limits.

<br /> Washington Avenue from Flower Street to
<br /> Grand Avenue.
<br />On the North side, 30 feet from the center line, between
<br />Flower and Bush Streets, except the area extending from
<br />the center line of Broadway to a point 183 feet easterly.
<br />On the North side, 35 feet from the center line, from Bush
<br />Street to the Santa Ana Freeway.
<br />On the South side, 40 feet from the center line, between
<br />Flower and Bush Streets.
<br />On the South side, 35 feet from the center line, between
<br />Bush Street and Grand Avenue.

<br />SECTION 9271.3. Flower Street.
<br />
<br />On both sides, 40 feet, measured from and at right angles to
<br />the survey center line, between the survey center line of
<br />Seventeenth Street and the survey center line of Pine Street.
<br />
<br />SECTION 9271.4. Fifth Street.
<br /> Between Harbor Boulevard and Western Avenue, measured 42 feet
<br /> from and at right angles to the survey center line.
