ORDINANCE NS-957 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 637 FILED BY HALL-LYON- HALL, LTD., AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 3-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 637 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 637, filed by HALL-LYON-HALL, LTD., for a change in District classification from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and said Commission has recommended, by its Resolution No. 5868, that said reclassification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 637 A; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEP~EFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at that point where the center line of Westminster Avenue intersects the center line of Fairview Street; thence northerly along the center line of Fairview Street for a distance of 331.8 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Westminster Avenue for a distance of 727.07 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Sydney Street for a distance of 331.8 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi- mately parallel to the center line of Westminster Avenue for a distance of 462.99 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fairview Street for a distance of 180 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Westminster Avenue for a distance of 264 feet, more or less, to~ the center line of Fairview Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of Fairview Avenue for a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and Sectional District Map 3-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 637 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
