4/88 MAP NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1007 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 652 FILED BY APRICOT <br />DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 36-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 652 A) <br /> <br /> W}{EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 652 filed by <br />APRICOT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION for a change in District Classi- <br />fication from the R-1 District to the CR District and from the <br />R-4 District to the CR District the property hereinbelow described; <br />and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5909, has recommended <br />APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit <br />AA 652 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that that parcel described as Parcel 1 be <br />reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-R District in accordance <br />with Exhibit AA 652 A; and that consideration of the remaining parcel <br />designated as parcel 2 be continued to the meeting of March 2, 1970; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said reclassification of Parcel 1 will not be <br />detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of california, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Bristol Street <br />intersects the center line of MacArthur Boulevard; thence <br />northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance <br />of 557 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Mac Arthur Boulevard for <br />a distance of 332.0 feet, more or less; thence southerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street <br />for a distance of 557 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />MacArthur Boulevard; thence westerly along the center line of <br />MacArthur Boulevard for a distance of 332 feet, more or less, <br />to the center line of Bristol Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CR District, <br />Sectional District Map 36-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 652 A. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That consideration of the reclassification of <br />the remaining parcel described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point on the center line of MacArthur Boulevard <br />located 498 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where <br />the center line of MacArthur Boulevard intersects the center line <br />of Bristol Street;thence northerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of <br />555 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of MacArthur Boulevard for a distance <br />of 520 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance <br />of 541 feet, more or less, to the center line of MacArthur <br />Boulevard; thence westerly along the center line of MacArthur <br />Boulevard for a distance of 520 feet, more or less, to the point <br />of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby continued to the meeting of March 2, 1970; <br /> <br /> <br />
