4/88 MAP NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-lO16 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 654 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 18-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 654-A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commiss ion has given notice and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 654 initiated by <br />the Planning Commission proposing to reclassify from the R-2, R-3 <br />and R-3B Districts to the R-3H and R-3h-B Districts the property <br />hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its Resolution No. <br />5916, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in <br />accordance with Exhibit AA 654-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />the R-2, R-3 and R-3B Districts to the R-3H and R-3H-B Districts <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA 654-A, and that the new classifica- <br />tions will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ama, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Cedar <br />Street intersects the center line of Walnut Street; <br />thence westerly along the center line of Walnut Street <br />for a distance of 1544.7 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Maple Street; thence northerly along the <br />center line of Maple Street for a distance of 190 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of an alley; thence <br />westerly for a distance of 332.5 feet, more or less, to <br />the center line of an alley; thence southerly along the <br />center line of said alley for a distance of 190 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of Walnut Street; thence <br />easterly for a distance of 2.5 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly for a distance of 190 feet; thence westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Walnut Street for a distance of 578 feet, more or less, <br />to the center line of Cypress Avenue; thence continuing <br />westerly for a distance of 199 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of an alley; thence southerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Main Street <br />for a distance of 689 feet, more or less; thence easterly <br />for a distance of 199 feet, more or less, to the center <br />line of Cypress Avenue; thence southerly 23.7 feet, thence <br />easterly for a distance of 2058.2 feet, more or less, to <br />the center line of Halladay Street; thence northerly for <br />a distance of 7.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly for <br />a distance of 227 feet, more or less; thence southerly for <br />a distance of 7.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly for <br />a distance of 578.5 feet, more or less, to the center line <br />of Standard Avenue; thence northerly along the center line <br />of Standard Avenue for a distance of 387.5 feet, more or <br />less to the center line of an alley; thence westerly along <br />the center line of said alley for a distance of 404.8 feet, <br />more or less to the center line of Cedar Street; thence <br />northerly along the center line of Cedar Street for a <br />distance of 538 feet more or less to the center line of <br />Walnut Street to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2, R-3 and R-3B Districts <br />Sectional District Map 18-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 654-A. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
