ORDINANCE NS-l164 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN FOR STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 28, AND ADDING SECTION 41-745 TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Planning Commission held a public hearing at a regularly scheduled meeting on the 26th day of March, 1973, on Specific Plan for Street Alignment No. 28, and established the following facts and circumstances. The alignment proposes to precise the alignment of Civic Center Drive between Minter Street on the east to existing Civic Center Drive and Birch Street to the west. The proposed improvement would be an asset to the future development in the area and would, therefore, benefit the general welfare of the people of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, The City Council regularly held a public hearing on said adoption on published notice as required by law, and does now find that the public necessity, con- venience, and general welfare require that Specific Plan for Street Alignment No. 28 be adopted, and that the the adoption will not be detrimental to the general welfare of the people of the City of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Specific Plan for Street Alignment No. 28 be adopted, and that Section 41-745 be added to the Zoning Ordinance of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as follows: SECTION 41-745. Specific Plan for Street Alignment No. 28 Civic Center Drive from Minter Street to Civic Center Drive and Bi~ch Street. SECTION 2: That the Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in some daily newspaper printed and published in the City of Santa Ana. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
