4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1167 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION 718 <br />FILED BY JACK SAKIOKA, TOSHIKI SAKIOKA AND JOHNNY <br />SAKIOKA TO PHEZONE PROPERTY PHESENTLY UNINCORPORATED <br />FROM M 1 (IN ORANGE COUNTY) TO THE M 1 DISTRICT IN <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 29-5-9 (EXHIBIT A.A.718-A). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Con~ission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application #718, filed <br />by Jack Sakioka, Toshiki Sakioka and Johnny Sakioka to prezone <br />property presently unincorporated and located on the west side <br />of the Newport Freeway, southeast of the intersection of Grand <br />and Warner Avenues, from M 1 (in Orange County) to the M 1 Dis- <br />trict in the City of Santa Ana, and said C~m~ission by its <br />resolution No. 6032 has recommended approval prezoning from <br />M 1 (in Orange County) to the M 1 District in the City of Santa <br />Ana in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 718-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said prezoning on published notice as required by law, and <br />does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />M 1 (in Orange County) to the M 1 District in the City of Santa <br />Ana, and that the new classification will not be detrimental <br />to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at the northwest corner of Section 29, <br />Township 5 south, Range 9 west, said northwest <br />corner being the True Point of Beginning; thence <br />easterly along the north line of Section 29, said <br />north line also being the center line of Warner <br />Avenue, a distance of 1,088.85 feet, more or less; <br />thence southerly perpendicular to said north line of <br />Section 29 a distance of 51.39 feet to the southerly <br />line of the State of California right of way for the <br />Warner Avenue overpass over the Newport Freeway; thence <br />easterly along said southerly line a distance of 190.81 <br />feet; thence northerly perpendicular to said southerly <br />line a distance of 15 feet; thence easterly parallel <br />to said southerly line a distance of 50.21 feet; <br />thence southerly perpendicular to said southerly line <br />through its various courses a distance of 293.62 feet, <br />more or less, to the northwesterly line of the State of <br />California right of way for the Newport Freeway; thence <br />southwesterly along said northwesterly line through its <br />various courses a distance of 2,061.18 feet, more or <br />less, thence westerly along the northerly line of the <br />State of California right of way for the Grand Avenue <br />offramp a distance of 155.90 feet; thence northwesterly <br />along last said right of way line for a distance of 35.36 <br />feet to the east line of Grand Avenue; thence westerly <br />perpendicular to the center line of Grand Avenue, said <br />center line also being the west line of said Section <br />29, a distance of 30 feet; thence northerly along said <br />west line of Section 29, 1,593.26 feet to the True Point <br />of Beginning <br /> <br />is hereby prezoned from M 1 (in Orange County) to the <br />M 1 District in the City of Santa Ana, and Sectional Dis- <br />trict nap 29-5-9 is hereby amended to show said prezonino <br />in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 718-A. <br /> <br /> <br />
