ORDINANCE N0. 1073 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR H0~DING A GENERAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE CITY OF SANTA AMA, <br />CALIFORNIA, ON THE 10TH DAY OF APRIL, 1939, <br />FOE THE ELECTION OF CITY OFFICERS IN SAID CITY <br />AND VOTING UPON PROPOSITIONS, GIVING NOTICE OF <br />SAID ELECTION, DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES, <br />THE HOURS DURING WHICH THE POLLS SHALL BE <br />OPENED, THE 0FFICEES TO BE E~CTED, AND APPOINT- <br />ING ELECTION 0FFICEES TO SERVE AT SAID ELECTION <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />~CTION 1: A general municipal election shall be held in the City of Santa <br /> <br />Aha, Orange County, California, by the qualified electors of said City, on the second <br /> <br />Monday in April, 1939, the same being the 10th day of April, 1939, for the election of <br /> <br />the following named officers of the City of Santa Aha for the term of four years each, <br /> <br />commencing on the Monday next succeeding the date of such election, to-wit: <br /> <br />A board of five (5) trustees, to be known as <br />the City Council; one of said trustees to be <br />elected from each of the five (5) wards of <br />said City, as last established by Ordinance <br />No. 958; by the general vote of the whole of <br />said City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />2. A Board of Education, to consist of fiVe (5) <br /> members. <br /> <br />3. A Recorder, who shall be known as the City <br /> Judge. <br /> <br />4. A Treasurer. <br /> <br />5. A Clerk. <br /> <br />6. An Attorney. <br /> <br />7. A Marshal, who shall be known as the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />SECTION .2: There will be 34 voting precincts within the territorial limits of <br /> <br />the City of Santa Ana for the purpose of holding said election, consisting of a con- <br /> <br />solidation of two or more of the regular election precincts last established for State <br /> <br />and County election purposes as herein set forth, and the election boards for each such <br /> <br />consolidated voting precinct respectively and the polling place thereof shall be as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Console.dated Voting Precinct #1 <br /> <br />Comprising State aud County Nos. 1 and 2 and the polling <br />place thereof shall be at the Fire Hall, 1322 North Sycamore St. <br /> <br />Inspector <br />Judge <br />Clerk <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Bess C.
