RESOLUTIO~ NO. 61-22 OVERRULING THE PLANNING <br />C~IISSION AND GRANTING VARIANCE APPLICATION <br />NO. 1401 FILED BY FOODmaKER COMPANY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, <br />notice, denied Variance Application No. <br />Company; and <br /> <br />after public hearing on <br />1401, filed by Foodmaker <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 7 was duly filed by the <br />applicant requesting a hearing on said Variance Application No. <br />before the City Council; and <br /> <br />1401 <br /> <br />~dEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing on notice, <br /> <br />has decided that the Planning Commission should be overruled, and <br /> <br />that said Variance should be granted upon certain conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: ~i~nat the City Council hereby <br />grants a variance on Application No. 1401 to permit the property <br />located at 1406 East First Street in the City of Santa Ana, lying <br />in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Assessors biap portion of Lot 38, Book 11, Page 15 <br /> <br />in a C-2 District, to be used for the construction of an advertising <br />sign identifying "Oscar's" Restaurant to the height of 47 feet. <br />Said Variance is granted subject to conditions: <br /> <br />~fhat the sign be constructed of sheet metal with plastic letters <br />and with no exposed bulbs or neon tubes. <br /> <br />That the sign face the direction indicated on the plot plan, and <br />that the sign be erected in accordance with said plot plan as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />That all of the hereinabove listed conditions be complied with <br />prior to the issuance of a utilities release by the Building <br />Department. <br /> <br /> PASSED AITD ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of February, 1961. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUI~ClL <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
