RESOLUTION 68-7 AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF <br />PROPERTIES BETWEEN THE CITY AND ALICE E. HUNTER <br />WHICH INVOLVES PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF <br />FIRST STREET, EAST OF BRISTOL STREET, RESULTING <br />IN A CASH CONSIDERATION DUE TO ALICE E. HUNTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ALICE E. HUNTER has executed a deed dated December 12, <br />1967, conveying to the City of Santa Aha real property at the north- <br />east corner of First and Bristol Streets with a cash consideration <br />of $36,450.00 in exchange for which the City will convey to said <br />ALICE E. HUNTER other real property which has been declared surplus <br />and is contiguous to the real property being conveyed to the City, <br />which property has a cash value of $10,135.00; the sale of this <br />property was authorized by the City Council on November 20, 1967; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has agreed to pay to ALICE E. <br />HUNTER the difference in equity of the interests in real property <br />being exchanged hereby in the amount of $26,315.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said transaction is to be handled through Escrow <br />Number 55407-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, <br />California. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deed from ALICE E.HUNTER granting to the City of Santa <br />Ana the following described property: <br /> <br />The real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: The South 40.00 feet of Lots 23 and 25 in Block A of <br />the Bessonett Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in <br />Book 24, Page 73, of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, <br />California. <br /> <br />Parcel 2: The East 10.00 feet of the West 20.00 feet of Lot 25 <br />in Block A of the Bessonett Tract, as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in Book 24, Page 73, of Miscellaneous Records of <br />Los Angeles County, California. EXCEPT the South 40.00 feet. <br /> <br />Parcel 3: A spandrel shaped parcel bounded Northeasterly by the <br />arc of a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 25.00 feet <br />being tangent to the Northerly line of Parcel 1 and the Easterly <br />line of Parcel 2 hereinbefore described, and bounded southerly by <br />the Northerly line of said Parcel 1 and bounded Westerly by the <br />Easterly line of said Parcel 2. <br /> <br />Parcel 4: An easement for underground storm drain purposes over <br />those portions of Lots 23 and 25 in Block A of the Bessonett Tract, <br />as shown on a map recorded in Book 24, Page 73, of Miscellaneous <br />Records of Los Angeles County, California, more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 25; thence North <br />40.00 feet along the West line of said Lot 25; thence East 20.00 <br />feet to the true point of beginning, said point being on a line <br />parallel with and 50.00 feet East, measured at right angles from <br />the center line of Bristol Street; thence North 23.77 feet along <br />said parallel line; thence South 57~ 37' 35" East a distance of <br />25.28 feet to a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a <br />radius of 17.67 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through <br />a central angle of 39~ 15' 12", an arc distance of 12.11 feet to a <br />non-tangent line; thence South 89° 44' 35" East a distance of <br />21.57 feet; thence South 0° 15' 25" West a distance of one foot; <br />thence North 89° 44' 35" West a distance of 50.22 feet to the <br />true poing of beginning.
