N~ll. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes <br />of February 17, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and <br />approved on motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried. <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Construct sanitary <br />sewer on Terminal <br />Street <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented for the construction of a sanitary sewer on <br /> <br />Teminal Street fr~ Fourth Street to 220 feet north, and Fourth Street from <br /> <br />Terminal to Santa Fe Street, Project No. 18, as follows: <br /> Total <br />Leo Weiler Cumpany $5,2-~.00 10% bond <br />Barnett Bros. Const. Co. 5,546.90 10% bond <br />Plumbing Contruactors, Inc. 4,038.50 10% bond <br />Edwin L. Barkley 3,668.00 10% bond <br /> <br />On recommendation of the c~m,,tttee and on motion of Counc~lm-- Hubbard, seconded <br /> <br />by Markel and carried, the low bid of Edwin L. No. 58-62 <br />(Valencia St. and <br />Santa Ana Freeway) <br /> <br />by Mark~l and carried, the low bid of $,11y-Mtller Contracting Company, in the <br />amount of $4,984.76 was accepted and the other bids rejected. <br /> <br />This being the date set for the hear~ of protests on the vacation, abaud~maent <br />and closing of a portion of an ,mn~d alley near the intersection of Valencia <br />Street and Santa And Freeway; no protests were received. The Council having <br />,na~lmously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Counoflm-n Hubbard, <br /> <br />seconded by Na]~ and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />'~esolution No. 58-62 ordering the vacation, abandomaent, and <br />closing of a portion of an ,m,,m~ alley near the intersection <br />of Valencia Street and Santa AnaFreeway" <br /> <br /> <br />
