Hubbard, Dale H. Heinly, <br /> Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br />Absent: Councilmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend F. W. Niedringhaus, Congregational Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />July 18, 1960 and July 22, 1960, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with <br />and ~pproved on motion of Councilm~u Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried. <br /> <br />Reso.No.60-143 <br />No Parking Zones <br />Delhi Road btn Harbor Blvd. <br />Greenville St.; and north <br />side btn Greenville St. <br />~nd Raitt Street <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amend.Appl.No.311 <br />Greschner-Rabec <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amend .Appl .No. 31R <br />James A. Freeman <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the establishing of "No Parking' Zones on <br />Delhi Road on both sides, between Harbor Boulevard and Greenville Street, and on the <br />north side between Greenville Street and Raitt Street; no protests were received and <br />the hearing was closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the <br />Resolution, on motion of Councilman Heinly~ seconded by Hubbard and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-143 prohibiting parking on both sides of Delhi <br /> Road between Harbor Boulevard and Greenville Street and on the <br /> north side between Greenville and Raitt Streets" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Dale H.Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, CounciLmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 311, filed by <br />Greschner-Rabec and Rabec, Inc., amending Sectional District ~p ll-5-10, to reclas- <br />sify fr~n M-1 to C-1 District, property on the north side of West First Street, begil <br />ning at a point 90h feet east of the center line of Sullivan Street, thence easterly <br />150 feet along the center line of West First Street, thence northerly 200 feet from <br />the surMey center line of First Street, thence westerly 150 feet, thence southerly <br />200 feet to the point of beginning; no protests were received and the hearing was <br />closed. On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the follow. <br />lng 0r~inance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> to change district classification on Amendment Application <br /> No. 311 and amending Sectional District Map ll-5-10" <br /> <br />was lntroduced~ considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 312, filed by <br /> <br />James A. Freeman, amending Sectional District Map 1-5-10, to reclassify from R-1 and <br />R-2 Districts to C-1-PK District, property bounded on the north by the south line of <br />Lots 22, 23, 22, and 25, of Tract 1572, on the west by Bristol Street, on the east <br />by a line approximately 240 feet east of the center line of Bristol Street, and on ti <br />south by a line approximately 215 feet north of the center line of 17th Street. <br />~ag-~ss~e~-~ee®~me~e~-~a~. Cce~nunication was presented from Attorney <br />Philip J. Reilly, representing a group of property owners opposing the Amendment <br />Application filed by James A. Freeman, and requested continuance of the hearing until <br />August 15, 1960. Attorney Theodore J. Beall).representing the applicant, objected <br />to the continuance, and stated his client is being deprived of the use of the proper~ <br />Councilman Heinly stated that as a matter of courtesy continuances are generally <br />granted in such matters, but a hearing would not be denied at this time if ~r. Beall <br />desired to be heard. Attorney Beall withdrew his opposition and agreed to the con- <br /> <br />tinuation until August 15, 1960. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubba~ <br />and carried, the hearing was continued to August 15, 1960. <br /> <br /> <br />
