REVISED <br />5/29/03 LES <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-07 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING A DISPOSITION AND <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />AGENCY AND MERCY HOUSE TRANSITIONAL <br />LIVING CENTER <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Board of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Agency") is authorized by the Community <br />Redevelopment law of the State of California (Health and Safety Code <br />sections 33000 et seq.) to expend funds to increase the supply of Iow- and <br />moderate-income housing available at affordable housing costs. <br /> <br />B. Pursuant to section 33334.2(g)(1) of the California Health and <br />Safety Code, the Agency may use its funds outside the Project Area upon <br />a resolution that such use will be of benefit to the Project Area. The <br />Agency has made such a finding in its annual budget resolution and <br />confirms it herein. <br /> <br />C. The Agency has agreed, subject to the approval of the City Counci <br />to convey certain real property outside of a Project Area located at 814 and <br />818 N. Garfield, pursuant to the terms and provisions of a Disposition and <br />Development Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") <br />between the Agency and Mercy House Transitional Living Center, which is <br />on file in the office of the Executive Director of the Agency, in which said real <br />property (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") is described. <br /> <br />D. The conveyance and development of said Site shall be of benefit to <br />the nearby Project Areas. <br /> <br /> <br />
