NS-2638 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED <br />WITHIN THE AREA GENERALLY BOUNDED BY CIVIC <br />CENTER DRIVE, RAITT STREET, BRISTOL STREET AND <br />FIRST STREET FROM PROFESSIONAL (P), COMMUNITY <br />COMMERCIAL (C1), LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (M1), TWO- <br />FAMILY RESIDENCE (R2) AND MULTIPLE-FAMILY <br />RESIDENCE (R3) TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R1) <br />(AA NO. 2003-05) <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> <br /> S~.ctinn 1. The <br />~lication are shown on Exhibit 1 to this <br />I herein by this reference as though fully set <br /> <br />The Planning ~f the City of Santa Ana held a duly noticed <br />public hearing on July on Amendment Application No. 2002-06 <br />and determined by a vote of 5:0 (Lutz and Nalle absent) that Amendment <br />Application No. 2003-05 be adopted to create consistency with the General <br />Plan, which designates this property as Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />The City Council also adopts as findings all facts presented in the Request <br />for Council Action dated September 15, 2003 accompanying this matter. <br /> <br />For these reasons, and each of them, Amendment Application No. 2003-05 <br />is hereby found and determined to be consistent with the General Plan of <br />the City of Santa Ana and otherwise justified by the public necessity, <br />convenience, and general welfare. <br /> <br /> Se~ion 2. The City Council finds and determines that Environmental Impact <br />Report (EIR) No. 97-1, previously adopted and certified by this Council, adequately <br />addresses the impacts of this Project and that said EIR may be applied to this Project <br />pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the State CEQA <br /> <br />Ordiance No. 2638 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
