Yamamoto, <br />in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. The <br />following members of the Authority responded to the roll call: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />David Ortiz <br />John Garthe <br />David Brandt <br />James Ward <br />Harry K. Yamamoto, <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />Vernon S. Evans <br /> <br />Chairman <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Keith L. Gow, City Attorney <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of <br />September 20, 1976, <br />on motion of Commissioner <br />unanimously carried (5-0). <br /> <br />was waived and they were approved as mailed <br />Garthe, seconded by Commissioner Ortiz, and <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Ward, <br />seconded by Com- <br />missioner Ortiz, and carried (5-0) the following documents were <br />received and filed: <br /> <br />REPORT OF DIRECTOR <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - <br />Leased Housing (Existing Units), indicating <br />that 65 of the 100 authorized units were under <br />lease as of October 1, 1976. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />September 30, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section <br />23 Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance <br />of $526,103.48. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Program <br />indicating that a total of 124 units of the <br />150 authorized by HUD were under lease as of <br />October 1, 1976; and that 53 of the additional <br />300 units authorized by HUD were under lease as <br />of October 1, 1976. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />September 30, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section <br />8 Housing Assistance Payments Program (HAP), <br />indicating a balance of $324,170.77. <br />
