<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING CERTAIN <br />COMMITTEES OF THE AGENCY BOARD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Agency has recommended to the Agency Board that it <br />create committees of less than a quorum of the Board for the purpose of focusing greater Agency <br />attention on key priorities coming before the Agency in the future; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency finds that it is in the public interest to provide effective forums for <br />in-depth review and study by members of the Agency Board of significant issues, projects and <br />matters outside of the established meetings of the full Agency. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />There shall be the following committees of the Agency: <br /> <br />a. <br />b. <br /> <br />DowntownlMidtown/ Artists Village; <br />Light Rail Alignment and Development; and <br />South Main Street Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Chairman is authorized and directed to appoint not more than three Agency <br />Members to each committee, and to fill any vacancies that may arise from time to <br />time. The actual number of Agency Members on each committee shall be at the <br />discretion of the Chairman. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />All meetings of the committees shall be subject to the Ralph M. Brown Act. Each <br />committee shall establish its own meeting schedule, and may adopt such other <br />procedural rules it deems desirable, consistent with State law. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />The committees shall be empowered to study all issues within their respective areas <br />of responsibility, provided that nothing contained herein shall permit a committee to <br />bind the Agency, or to be treated as a substitute for action by the Agency Board <br />where required by law, unless specifically empowered or directed by the Agency. <br /> <br />1 <br />
