Spragg, City Manager <br />Ron Wolford, Assistant City Manager <br />Keith Gow, City Attorney <br />Ted Jessee, Community Redevelopment Commission <br />Robert Newcomb, Community Redevelopment Commission <br />John Coil, Community Redevelopment Commission <br />Howard Way, Project Area Committee <br />John Dykstra, Economics Research Associates <br />Richard McElyea, Economics Research Associates <br />Tom Feeney, Economics Research Associates <br />Bob Blaustone, Santa Ana College <br />Lynn O'Dell, The Register <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting held on October 26,1976 were <br />approved as read upon the motion of Mr. Brandt, seconded by Mr. <br />Yamamoto and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ECONOMICS RESEARCH ASSOCIATES - CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS <br /> <br />Mr. John Dykstra of Economics Research Associates, reported to <br />the Agency that as part of phase one of the feasibility analysis <br />on the Center for the Performing Arts, Economics Research Associates <br />has been considering six alternative sites for the Center and has <br />come to the conclusion that the Civic Center site would best serve <br />the Orange County area. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard McElyea of Economics Research Associates reported <br />that he has been conducting an analysis as to the potential uses <br />and users of the Center, and has concluded that such a Center <br />could be used for a Performing Arts Center as well as a Center <br />for sports and community events. <br /> <br />A motion was made to receive and file the preliminary report by <br />Economics Research Associates by Mr. Brandt, seconded by Mr. Ortiz <br />and carried unanimously. <br />
