In order to <br />facilitate repairs, an infrared camera will be used as a diagnostic tool <br />to detect overheating conditions in pumps, motors, seals, bearings, <br />wiring systems, and transformers. Overheating is the main indicator of <br />potential system problems and if detected early, critical water system <br />failures and costly repairs can be prevented. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on March 9 and 11, 2005, and <br />bids were solicited.
