Lorenzo Carrillo, <br /> <br />Public present: Evangeline Gawronski, President of Com link <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF DISCUSSIONS <br /> <br />1, APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Approved Minutes of the May 9, 2005 meeting, <br /> <br />2, PROPOSED FIREWORKS ORDINANCE <br /> <br />After discussion, the Committee recommended that the Ordinance be <br />modified to include the 80 percent residency requirement and forward to <br />the City Council for review, <br /> <br />3, FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS JULY 4TH UPDATE <br /> <br />Fire Marshal Smith and Sgt Carrillo reviewed the Enforcement and <br />Educational Campaigns that were employed on July 4th, The Committee <br />suggested that the City work with the other five cities that allow fireworks <br />regarding penalty phases to coordinate penalties for violations of the <br />Fireworks Ordinance, It was also suggested that a meeting be held with <br />Costa Mesa and Garden Grove Fire Chiefs and Police Chiefs to solicit <br />their participation in enforcement efforts, <br />
