These funds provide for affordable and
supportive housing, community development programs, public services and
economic opportunities. The programs include the Community Development
Block Grant (CDGB), the HOME Investment Partnership Grant (HOME), the
Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and the Housing Opportunities for Persons
with AIDS (HOPWA) Grant. Since Santa Ana is the most populous city in
the County, Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) funds are
provided to the City for use throughout the County to address housing and
supportive services for persons with HIV/AIDS.
29A-1
