Zuniga, Diana
From: Maria Ceja <
Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2025 11:47 AM
To: eComment
Subject: Council member requested item #32
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana.Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Mayor and City Council,
I support Council member Lopez's request to direct staff to create an ordinance that requires all federal enforcement
agents to identify themselves within the boundaries of our city. They must be required to have name badges, share their
credentials, and not be allowed to wear face coverings. A similar resolution has already been established in the City of
Huntington Park after they rising safety concerns and arresting a man who was impersonating to be a federal agent. I
hope the council does the right thing and directs staff to establish a strong resolution to do so and ensures that there
are penalties of federal agents violates it.
Sincerely,
Maria Ceja
Santa Ana resident
i
