• <br />RESOLUTION NO.2002-23 <br />Kdo/08/26/02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT NO. 2002-10 TO ALLOW TRAFFIC SCHOOL AT <br />2100 EAST FOURTH STREET, SUITE 120 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br />A. Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-313.5 requires a conditional use <br />permit for trade and professional schools in the Professional district. <br />B. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program for <br />Environmental Review No. 2001-146 and Conditional Use Permit No. <br />• 2002-10 came before the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />for a duly noticed public hearing on August 26, 2002. <br />C. Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-638 authorizes the Planning <br />Commission to grant a conditional use permit upon making certain <br />findings. <br />Will the proposed use provide a service or facility that will contribute <br />to the general well being of the neighborhood or the community? <br />The approval of the National Traffic Safety Institute (NTSI) <br />traffic school as conditioned will establish a traffic school <br />facility which will provide necessary training services for the <br />adult community. <br />2. The proposed use will not, under the circumstances of the <br />particular case, be detrimental to the health, safety, or general <br />welfare of persons residing or working in the vicinity. <br />The traffic school as conditioned will not create any <br />detrimental impacts to the persons residing or working in the <br />area, as the classes will be conducted only during the <br />evening hours and on Saturdays. <br />CJ <br />Resolution No. 2002-23 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
