The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On October 1, 2009, the Historic Resour es Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement ~n the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2009-14 and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2009-14 of the J.C. House, located at 2454 North <br />Heliotrope Drive, Santa Ana. <br />B. The J.C. Smith House was constructed in 1934, and is a Tudor Revival <br />styled residence. <br />C. Character defining features include exterior stucco cladding, exposed <br />beams, and steeply pitched roof. <br />D. This residence qualifies for listing as Contributive because it "is a good <br />example of period architecture" and "contributes to the overall character <br />and history' of Floral Park. <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property ire Hector R Alvarez & Sayo <br />Yokoi. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G.
