<br /> <br />• <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br />EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1 <br />AK- D9/XX/09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2009-07 TO PLACE THE PROPERTYh' LOCATED AT <br />1812 NORTH HELIOTROPE DRIVE, SANI~A ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2009-07 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />• <br />C] <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commissian of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On October 1, 2009, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement do the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources ',Commission Application No. <br />2009-07 and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2009-07) of the Bryte House, located at 1812 North <br />Heliotrope Drive, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Bryte House is a 1934 example of the Monterey Revival style of <br />architecture. Character defining features of this structure include balcony, <br />symmetrical fenestration, and exposed beam supports. <br />C. This home qualifies for designation as Conkributive because it "is a good <br />example of period architecture" and "contrit~utes to the overall character <br />and history" of Park Santiago. <br />D. The legal owner of the subject property is David P. Ko. <br />E. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />F. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement on the <br />City of Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties pursuant to Section 30-2 <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />G.
