RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ASIA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2009-04 TO PLACE THE PROPERTYh' LOCATED AT <br />202 SOUTH BROADWAY, SANTA NA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPRO ING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 20(b9-04 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />• <br />• <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commissian of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On October 1, 2009, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2009-04 and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2009-04) of the Jackman House, located at 202 South <br />Broadway, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Jackman House is a 1912 example of Craftsman Bungalow <br />architecture. <br />C. Character defining features of this building include exterior clapboard <br />siding, wood windows, porch, and notched ends and bargeboards. <br />D. This home qualifies for designation as Contributive because it "is a good <br />example of period architecture" and "contri'Ibutes to the overall character <br />and history" of the Heninger Park neighbgrhood which has many other <br />historic structures. <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property arei Atef & Mervat Kamel. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G.
