EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2007-22 <br />Icp 08/29/07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. <br />2007-16 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2140 <br />NORTH ROSS STREET, SANTA ANA ON THE HISTORICAL <br />REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC REGISTER <br />CATEGORIZATION NO. 2007-16 PLACING SAID <br />PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On September 6. 2007, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />• noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2007- <br />16) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission Categorization No. <br />2007-13) of the Fuller-Utt House located at 2140 North Ross Street, Santa <br />Ana. <br />B. The Fuller-Utt House, located at 2140 North Ross Street, Santa Ana, was <br />built in 1930 and qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties as an example of English Revival style architecture. <br />C. Additionally, the structure is eligible to be categorized as Contributive as it <br />"contributes to the overall character and history" of Santa Ana and is a <br />"good example of period architecture." <br />D. The design elements that identify this style include a exterior stucco finish, <br />fenestration with six over one and one over one configurations, roof <br />configuration, and chimney. <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property are Troy and Kim Learning. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit A <br />and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement on the City <br />of Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties pursuant to Section 30-2 of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2007-22 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
