EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2007-21 <br />Icp 08/29/D7 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. <br />2007-15 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2450 <br />NORTH RIVERSIDE DRIVE, SANTA ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2007-15 PLACING SAID <br />PROPERTY WITHIN THE KEY CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On September 6. 2007, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />• noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br /> Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2007- <br /> 15) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission Categorization No. <br /> 2007-15) of the Matthews House located at 2450 North Riverside Drive, <br /> Santa Ana. <br />8. The Matthews House, located at 2450 North Riverside Drive, Santa Ana, <br /> was built in 1945 and qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of <br /> Historical Properties for its representation of the distinguishing <br /> characteristics of the Colonial Revival style. <br />C. Additionally, the structure is eligible to be categorized as Key because "it <br /> has a distinctive architectural style and quality" and is a good example of <br /> Colonial Revival architecture. <br />D. The design elements that identify this style include a fenestration with six <br /> over six double hung windows, entry surround, former pediments, and <br /> decorative shutters. <br />E. The legal owner of the subject property is Adrienne Salyer. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit A <br /> and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement on the City <br /> of Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties pursuant to Section 30-2 of the <br />• Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />Resolution No. 2007-21 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
