Approve a funding aoalysis with a total estimated censirucfieo cost of $123,780. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Fairview Triaogle Is a iriangular•shapetl undeveloped dlrl lot along the Santa Ana River <br />Reaeatlonal Trail and FaiNiew Avenue, south of 171h Street (Exhibit 1 ?. The Santa Ana River <br />Vision Plan, which was adopted by Clfy Council on August 1, 2006, identified this properly as an <br />area of oppodunity In that it could be developed info atrail-side rest area for pedestrians and <br />cyclists. The proposed project includes decomposed granite paths, benches, a bike rack, drought <br />tolerant landscaping, and an inigafieo system using reclaimed wafer. The impmvemeofs will <br />provide a space for trail users to rest as well as viewthe existing habitat area. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was adverllsed on August 17 and 18, 2011, and bids were opened on <br />September 7, 2011.
