ORDINANCE NO. NS-2829 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ZONING THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br />1302, 1306 AND 1310 EAST FOURTEENTH STREET FROM <br />ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL (C5) TO SINGLE-FAMILY <br />RESIDENCE (R1) (AA NO. 2011-02) <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 . The City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find, determine <br />and declare as follows: <br />A. The Applicant is requesting adoption and approval of Amendment <br />Application No. 2011-02, General Plan Amendment No. 2011-03, and <br />Variance No. 2011-09 to allow the construction of a new single-family <br />residence at 1302 East Fourteenth Street. A true and correct copy of the <br />amendments to Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is attached herewith as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />B. On January 23, 2012, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public <br />hearing and voted to recommend that the City Council: <br />1 . Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2011-02. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 2011-03. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2011-09 as conditioned. <br />C. Amendment Application No_ 2011-02 came before the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana for a duly noticed public hearing on March 5, 2012, to <br />consider all testimony, written and oral. <br />D_ Amendment Application No. 2011-02 has been filed with the City of Santa <br />Ana to zone the properties located at 1302, 1306 and 1310 East Fourteenth <br />Street from Arterial Commercial (C5) to Single-Family Residence (R1 ). <br />E. Amendment Application No. 2011-02 is consistent with the General Plan, <br />including but not limited to its goals and policies: <br />1 .
