COUNCIL COMMITTEES <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-102 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING COMMITTEES OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. By Resolution Nos. 99-069,2000-069,2001-033,2003-001 and 2005- <br />003 the City Council created and, from time to time, modified Committees of the Council <br />for the purpose of focusing greater Council attention on key priorities coming before or <br />of interest to the Council. <br /> <br />B. The City Council seeks to again reorganize the committees to <br />increase the number of committees to six (6) by creation of a Development Committee. <br /> <br />Section 2. From and after the date hereof, there shall be the following Committees of <br />the City Council: <br /> <br />a. Neighborhood Improvement/Code Enforcement <br />b. Main Street Development <br />c. Public Safety <br />d. Parks, Recreation, Education & Youth <br />e. Technology <br />f. Land Use Policy <br /> <br />Each committee shall consist of two or three councilmembers as <br />determined and appointed by the Mayor. Each committee member shall serve on the <br />committee for a two year term commencing with the first meeting of each new city <br />council following a general election, but each councilmember shall continue to serve on <br />his or her committee until replaced, or until that councilmembers leaves office. <br /> <br />Section 3. This Resolution supercedes and replaces all other resolutions relating to <br />this subject matter. Resolution No. 2005-003 is hereby repealed in its entirety and shall <br />be null and void for all purposes. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 17'h day of October, 2005. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005-102 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
