• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-11 <br />bk:9/3/09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING RESIDENTIAL <br />RELOCATION PERMIT NO. 2009-03 FOR THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 717 EAST THIRD STREET <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br />A. The Applicant is requesting approval of Residential Relocation No. 2009-03 <br />to allow the relocation of a single family residence to a vacant parcel located <br />at 717 East Third Street. <br />B. Residential Relocation Permit No. 2009-03 came before the Zoning <br />Administrator of the City of Santa Ana for a duly noticed public hearing on <br />September 9, 2009. <br />• C. The proposed site at 717 East Third Street is 6,410 square feet in size and <br />presently includes a commercial building that is to be demolished. The <br />land uses surrounding the subject property include commercial and <br />industrial to the north, and single family residences to the immediate <br />south, east and west. <br />D. The applicant proposes to relocate a 1,200 square foot, one-story single <br />family residence from 505 East Fifth Street in Santa Ana to a new location at <br />the north east comer of Lacy Street and Third Street within the Lacy <br />Neighborhood. The residence was originally built in the early 1900s in the <br />Transitional Arts and Craft architectural style. <br />E. The Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-620 requires all residential <br />structures proposed to be relocated in Santa Ana to obtain a residential <br />relocation permit. To grant such a permit, the Zoning Administrator shall <br />make findings relative to the value, size and quality of the relocated <br />residence and that the residence will not have a negative impact on the <br />immediate neighborhood. <br />F. The project is in compliance with the General Plan land use designation of <br />Medium Density Residential (MR-15) with a maximum of 15 dwelling units <br />per acre. In addition, the project is consistent with the R2 zoning district <br />• with regards to permitted uses and development standards. The required <br />minimum 6,000 square foot lot size, 50 feet of lot frontage, 20-foot front <br />Resolution No. 2009-11 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
