ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING <br />MINUTES <br />MAY 18, 2011 <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2011 -07 <br />11:24 a.m. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall <br />Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. <br />Also in attendance were: Adolfo Lopez, Applicant; Jim Gartner, Architect; Vince <br />Fregoso, Principal Planner; Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan Hodge, City <br />Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. <br />Vince Fregoso provided the project update and recommendation of approval with <br />conditions. <br />There were no written communications. <br />Discussion was held regarding the unpermitted signage. Planning Condition No. 6 was <br />added indicating all exterior signs must be in compliance and Police Condition No. 16 <br />was modified to comply with the added condition prior to the issuance of Letter of <br />is Approval to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board. The Zoning Administrator requested <br />Code Enforcement be informed to investigate the unpermitted signage. <br />The applicant and architect inquired about having a banquet facility and after hours <br />operation included in the conditions. The Zoning Administrator stated the application <br />before him is for an Alcoholic Beverage Control license and explained the process for <br />the banquet facility and after hours operation request. The Zoning Administrator <br />continued the item to allow the applicant time to file for the appropriate applications. <br />The Zoning Administrator continued Conditional Use Permit No. 2011 -07 as conditioned <br />to June 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Hall Ross Annex, Second Floor Conference <br />Room 2001, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701. <br />The hearing adjourned at 11:53 a.m. <br />Jocelyn hmgalona <br />Recording Secretary <br />mAza\minutes\201115 -18 -11 CUP11 -07 Karmina ABC 4" continuance.min <br />• <br />
