ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING <br />• MINUTES <br />AUGUST 31, 2011 <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2011 -18 <br />10:53 a.m. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall <br />Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. <br />Also in attendance were: Joel Soto and Javier Soto, Applicants; Ali Pezeshkpour, <br />Planning Intern; Verny Carvajal, Senior Planner; Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan <br />Hodge, City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. <br />Verny Carvajal presented the staff report and recommendation for approval with <br />conditions. <br />Verny Carvajal interpreted in Spanish for the applicants. <br />There were no written cornmunications. <br />Mike McCoy stated Police Condition 1 must be complied with. Mr. Klotz stated his <br />• concern with the condition of the parking area and amended Police Condition 1 to <br />indicate that it must be complied with within 30 days of Planning Commission approval. <br />Verny Carvajal indicated that staff would re- inspect the site to ensure compliance. <br />Discussion was held regarding the business hours and its potential impact on the <br />neighborhood. Planning Condition 7 was added to establish limited business hours. <br />Planning Condition 8 was also added to ensure the applicant's business license is <br />updated to include a check cashing use. <br />Joel Soto stated their agreement to all of the conditions. <br />The Zoning Administrator adopted a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. <br />2011 -18 with amended conditions. <br />The hearing adjourned at 11:12 a.m. <br />Jocelyn Magalona <br />Recording Secretary <br />• mr\za\minutes\2011 \8 -31 -11 CUP 11-18 Soto Check Cashing.min <br />
