DISCUSSION The Public Works Agency Maintenance Services Division is responsible for maintaining over 112 vacant lots, easements, and storm drain channels. In order to do so, a contract for weed and debris removal from both public and private properties is required. Removing the weeds and debris supports neighborhood vitality and will enhance the safety, appearance and livability of these areas. Approval of the recommended action will allow the City to continue to provide these services, The notice inviting bids was advertised on ,July 21, 2015, on the City's online bid management and publication system.
