ORDINANCE NO. NS-~2 ~,~NDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY A~ENDING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND ANENDIN~ SHEET N~BER 22 OF THE DISTRICTING ~AP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of District classification and by Resolution No. 627 recommended to the City Council the change hereinbelow set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council gav~ due notice of pu01ic hearing and such hearing has been regularly held and the Council does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare re- quire the following amendment and change in classification of the real property herein described and that the uses under the pro- posed new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- ing proper~y. NOW, THE~FORE, THE CITY $O~qCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL0~S: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point 1645.26 feet west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Bristol and Seventeenth Streets, extending west 422.50 feet,and north 1050 feet, more or less, thence east422.50 feet, and south 1050 fe~t, more or less, to the point of beginning, containing approximately ten acres~ be reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 District and that Sheet No. 22 of the Districting ~ap of Article IX of the Santa Aha Nunicipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of tbs Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shallcause the same to be pub- lished, within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa %ua Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days .... from and after the date of its adoption. ~
